Ideal for players of all abilities, Cabo San Lucas Country Club’s unique blend of desert-style, shot making challenges and stunning views is guaranteed to inspire enthusiasm from even the most discriminating golfer. The original nine was designed by Roy Dye, brother of Pete Dye, and completed by Roy’s son Matt Dye, a second generation golf course architect. On a fantastic piece of relatively flat land with a gentle slope from the back side downward to the direction of the ocean, Cabo San Lucas Country Club offers a variety of views of the mountainous desert with groves of magnificent Palo Blanco trees and stately cardon cacti that stand guard over the course’s expansive fairways. Nine refreshing but subtly menacing lakes, sprinkled throughout the desert course, provide a watery landing for wayward balls. From the back tees you’ll need everything in your bag to cover the required 7,220 yards with a heart-pumping rating of 75.4. Mere mortals can play from any of the other four sets of tees ranging from 6,862 yards down to 5,302 yards.
The lush manicured Bermuda grass fairways and greens are juxtaposed against the rugged collections of Palo Blanco trees and colorful Bougainvilleas, all framed by breathtaking vistas of the Sea of Cortez and Land’s End landmark.
Consistently ranked as one of Mexico’s finest courses, the Cabo San Lucas Country Club also features a full service golf shop stocked with the latest equipment, clothing and accessories. The club also features a full service practice facility and a host of lesson programs from its experienced PGA professionals. The authentic Mexican spirit is alive in the food and beverage facilities, where staff will prepare your burrito or quesadillas right before your eyes.
